NOMS 2008 has blocked a number rooms with reduced prices in Pestana Bahia Hotel, the venue of the event. If you are going to stay in the hotel, please make your reservation as soon as possible, as the hotel will be receiving many other guests in that time of year and we expect much more NOMS attendees than the capacity of the blocked rooms. Below is information to book a room. The showed prices are in Reals, the Brazilian currency.  As for March 10th, the approximate exchange rate is:  1 US Dollar = 1.7 Brazilian Reals  or 1 Brazilian Real = 0.58 US Dollars.

Notes:

  1. Breakfast is included in the rate. Requests for extra bed, based on availability, are subject to a 25% rate increase. The rate for students is limited to 50 places. Check-in time is 2:00 p.m. Checkout time is 12:00 p.m.

  2. Each individual is responsible for his own room, tax and incidental charges upon departure .The Hotel accepts the following methods of payment: cash, credit cards such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Diner's Club.

  3. Guests are permitted to check-in earlier on a request basis through the Front Office Manager, and will be honored according to room availability at the arrival time. 

  4. To accommodate early arrivals and late departures of attendees, the Hotel shall provide guest rooms at conference rates from April 05, 2008, through April 13, 2008 according to availability of the hotel. This is known as the Conference Period. Room reservations out of this period will be charged according to normal rate policies of the hotel.
